Content
Where did language come from? What is its future? How do we acquire it? For those interested in effective communication, this fascinating course will help you to understand, explore and use the linguistic systems that lead to successful human interaction at all levels. You will learn to analyse the meaning and mechanics of discourse whilst exploring the possibilities of your own linguistic originality and investigative powers - knowledge and skills that will underpin and complement most other A Level subjects.

Whether charting the history of language or exploring its future possibilities in the world of technology, you will be at the heart of linguistic know-how.
