AS Business Studies focuses on marketing, accounting and finance, people and operations, extend influences and business strategy.
A2 Business Studies will build on knowledge and understanding gained at AS Level. It will focus more on strategic importance, financial accounts and the economy.
Special Features
Students will have the opportunity to take part in Fantasy Share League and the Bank of England 2.0% challenge.
Entry
You will need 5 A* - C grades in GCSEs, including English and Maths.
Attendance
This is a one year course to AS Level and a further year to complete the full A2 Level.
Assessment
A combination of status responses and case studies are used.
Moving on
It is a good starting point for any higher level business course. It will also help to gain an understanding of the business world for any job and vocational training courses.
