This course offers the chance to study British European and non-European history.
It considers political, social and economic issues whilst developing a wide variety of historical skills.
Entry
A 'C' grade in GCSE History, Humanities and/or English Language would be beneficial.
Attendance
One year to achieve an AS Level and a further year to complete the full A Level.
There is a direct relationship between attendance and achievement and so we would expect full attendance at lessons.
Assessment
AS Level - Two examinations of one hour and 20 minutes.
A2 Level - One examination of two hours and coursework.
