This course provides you with the opportunity to learn about many key concepts in business studies: Marketing, Finance, the Economy and Human Resources. It will allow you to use real businesses as the basis for your study. This can also provide you with the chance to run your own company for profit and develop the skills of business planning.
Special Features
You will have opportunities to visit local and national businesses to aid coursework assignments. You will have access to the suite of computers in the Business Studies Centre.
Entry
You will need at least 5 A* - C GCSEs.
Attendance
One year to AS plus one further year to complete the full A Level.
Assessment
This is through a combination of coursework and examinations.
Moving on
If you wish to study Finance, Marketing or Human Resources in Higher or Further Education this course will be of a great advantage. This course will also prepare you for a range of job opportunities in the business world.
