Welcome to T6C
Welcome to the T6C website. The Trowbridge Sixth Form Centre (T6C) is the name given to the joint Sixth Forms of the Clarendon College and The John of Gaunt School. They work in partnership with the Matravers School Sixth Form.
Achievements
Our schools have received a number of awards in recognition of their achievements. The Clarendon College is a Specialist Language Centre and The John of Gaunt School has Specialist College Status in Science, Mathematics and Computing.
Information Evenings
Information Evenings and Open Days are held during the Autumn term to enable parents and students to visit the schools, meet the teachers and find out more about courses of interest.
Expectations
At T6C, there is a strong work ethic and we have very high expectations of our students. All students sign a 'learning agreement' which will outline what we expect from our students.
Transition to Sixth Form
We work very hard to make the transition from school to sixth form as trouble-free as possible. Our ultimate aim is for your son or daughter to enrol on the right course for them, at the most appropriate level, and to leave us having realised their potential.
Support Systems
We recognise that all learners have individual needs and that a wide range of support systems are needed to help everyone realise their full potential. Your son or daughter will have a personal tutor and be part of a tutor group, which meets regularly
